GIBBS BACK IN THE FOLD

South Africa have recalled Herschelle Gibbs as cover for the injured Jacques Kallis for the remainder of the one-day series against England.

Kallis has been ruled out of the five-match series with a rib injury and missed Sunday's seven-wicket defeat in the second ODI in Pretoria.

The Proteas have not confirmed whether Gibbs, 35, will play in the next match in Cape Town on Friday.

Gibbs has 21 ODI centuries from 245 appearances but the two least experienced batsmen in their line-up Alviro Petersen and Hashim Amla, both scored half centuries on Sunday.
