FT: MAN CITY 2-0 BOLTON

Manchester City kept up the pressure on their rivals for a top four finish after Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor clinched victory over Bolton.
Tevez opened the scoring with a first-half penalty, while Adebayor's fine volley after the break ensured Bolton remain in a precarious league position.
Gareth Barry fired into the side netting as City searched for an opener, but Bolton held firm until Paul Robinson's rash tackle allowed Carlos Tevez (31) to blast home a spot-kick.
However, the Trotters had a good penalty shout turned down moments later when Kolo Toure felled Johan Elmander.
City almost added a second after the break as Tevez's free-kick hit the bar, while at the other end Tamir Cohen flicked wide from a few yards out.
But the hosts did kill the game off in the 73rd minute as Emmanuel Adebayor cushioned Patrick Vieira's long ball on his chest and volleyed into the net.
