FAB'S A HAPPY GUNNER

Cesc Fabregas has reiterated his desire to stay at Arsenal and help the Gunners capture their first piece of silverware for five years.

The Spaniard has been linked with a move to Barcelona on a number of occasions but insists he is desperate to succeed at the Emirates.

"We can achieve trophies here. We have played some finals, been fighting for the Premier League, the Champions League but have just not quite done it," he said.

"But I am really happy with this club, focused on winning and we're more than capable of doing it this season."

Asked whether he would consider staying at Arsenal for the remainder of his career Fabregas replied: "Why not?

"I have never really thought about it because I am only 22 and you never know what your career will bring - but why not? It is my seventh season now, I am really happy, better than ever, so you never know."
