DOBRISKEY LEFT 'GUTTED'
Great British hope Lisa Dobriskey admitted she was "gutted" after missing out on winning a medal in the women's 1500m final.
Dobriskey waited too long before making her move and had to settle for fourth place in a race won by Kenya's Nancy Jebet Langat.
"I'm gutted, I really thought I could do it today and I just missed out," said Dobriskey.
"I just misjudged my finish a little bit so it's disheartening. I was desperate to get a medal. I wanted it and feel like I've missed a good opportunity there. I just missed it by a split second, it's a fine line.
"In the past I've gone too hard too early and finished further down so it's hard. There was some more there, that's the frustrating thing but I messed up tactically."
Asked about her new personal best, she added: "I would rather have gone 20 seconds slower and have a medal."
