SONS ASK FOR THEIR MURDERED MUMMY BACK
imageThe family of a young murder victim say her two young sons still do not understand that she will not be coming home again.Geeta Aulakh, 28, was attacked a week ago in west London.

In a tearful news conference, her sister Anita Shinh said: "Listening to them ask for their mummy breaks our hearts and finding the words to tell them that their mother is no more - words cannot describe it."

She sobbed: "One said 'Is she going to come one final time to say goodbye?' - I just do not think they believe it, they expect her to come through the door.

"They are just too young to understand."

Geeta's sister was accompanied by their mother Nardesh and father Lakhwinder as they pleaded for anyone with information about the murder to come forward and help police.

Clutching photographs of her sister, Anita said: "Geeta had the biggest smile that melted everyone's heart and she was cruelly taken away, leaving two gorgeous little boys who are without their mummy."

Police are appealing for anyone in the vicinity of Braund Avenue and Verulam Road in Greenford last Monday evening to come forward.

Detectives are also keen to get a fuller picture of Geeta's social life and interests.

Sher Singh, 18, has been charged with murder and remanded in custody.

Eleven other men, including Geeta's estranged husband Harpreet Aulakh, have been arrested and released on police bail.
